We want you to have that same experience when you walk through the doors of First Lutheran. We want your first impression to be so exciting that you will want to come back.
What you will notice when you worship with us is the friendly atmosphere in our congregation. You will be met by happy people who are thrilled to welcome you with open arms. On Sunday morning, you can participate in either of our Spirited worship services. You can be assured you will walk away nourished and blessed.One of the appealing things about First Lutheran is the fact that we mean it when we say “No one ever need stand alone.” Through a host of ministries, we are committed to helping every individual become the best that they can possibly be. Our pastor and staff are readily available to work through problems with you. Along with mature volunteers, we make good on the pledge that no one need stand alone.
Along with this, we have many different ministries to help people grow in the Christian Faith. We have a Ladies Time Out that meets Monday and Tuesday mornings. Our Youth worship, study, and fellowship together on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Small groups meet on a daily basis. We have a Vital Christianity course to inform people about the basis of our faith and an Alpha Ministry for totally new people. As you can see, if you are a seeker, a new Christian, or a mature believer, we have something that will appeal to you. Besides all this, what is really important to us is that you develop a dynamic and exciting relationship with our Saviour and His people.
