Darren's Story

Several years ago, I work at an engineering consultant firm and maintained a fairly lengthy list of clients.  During this time period, the oil and gas industry was extremely busy and extra help was impossible to find.  My work hours kept climbing (along with my stress level) to the point where I literally didn’t see my family (except when they were sleeping).  I felt I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.  I prayed.   I prayed to God for help, not knowing how he would help me, but I just asked for help.

 Well, over the course of the next couple months, two new people came into my life (one through our church/alpha group and one through an acquaintance of my wife).  These two fellows “just happened” to have a lull in their current work at that time.  And these two fellows “just happened” to have great expertise in oil/gas pipelines and process facilities respectively.  They graciously helped me out immensely through that busy period and to this day they remain my friends and brothers in Christ.

 God is pretty amazing in how he answers prayers
