Prayer Ministries > Stephen Ministries > Alpha > Vacation Bible Camps > Refugees Sponsorship First Lutheran is currently involved in helping to sponsor 17 refugees from Sudan, who are currently living in an Etheopian refugee camp. Ladies’ Time Out Mondays & Tuesdays 9:30-11-30am. Nine week sessions begin in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Choose from a variety of classes including: fitness, art, Scrap booking, Pilates, Quilting, Mosaics, Card Making, Japanese Beading and more. Childcare is available. For registration information call Helen @ (403) 246-9038. LTO Website > Inn From The Cold Inn From The Cold is a shelter program for our city’s homeless individuals and families. Our church participates in the program on third Friday of each month. Using our church’s Gymnasium we offer a warm place to sleep and hot meals for up to 15 homeless people. Samaritan's Purse Website> Financial Support The congregation has committed to tithing to social and emergency needs, church camps, Calgary based agencies caring for the needy and the church worldwide.
