It is the gift of God that worship takes many forms. It allows us to
worship in the simplicity of the sacraments and the life-giving study
of the Word, confession, forgiveness; each of these giving us glimpses
of Jesus. And there’s praise, silence, sacrificial giving and offerings,
true community, these things also offer windows through which to
see God. And the other wordless, but no less spiritual, moments we
find ourselves in: work, driving, playing with kids, cleaning.
Worship is life lived toward God.
WORSHIP TEAMS
Our worship teams are built with individuals who have a love for God, a worshipful heart, and are team players. There are several ways to serve with a worship team: by playing an instrument and/or singing as well as doing sound or running the computer slides. The worship teams lead the music for both services (9am and 11am) on the Sunday mornings. If you are interested serving in any of these areas, please contact Pete Justine (see contact info below).
Practice
Thursday 6:30-8:30pm in the Sanctuary with a brief run through and sound check on the Sunday morning.
SERVING IN THE WORSHIP MINISTRY
Worship Teams: musicians,vocalists, sound techs and computer personel. for information call Pete Justine at (403) 852-0146
Altar care: Ensures chancel area is always prepared for Worship. For information call: Pastor Julianne (403) 242-4544
Ushers: Responsible for the smooth running of the logistics of a worship service. Teams rotate on a weekly basis. For information, call: Warren Koskey(403) 295-1771
Counters: Responsible for counting and recording offerings. Call Kelly Blackwell (403) 242-4544
Greeters: Meet and greet members and visitors and provide information about the church. Call Liz Gahan (403) 242-4544
